Busy holidays
News updates have been sparse this month, symbolically pretty much ever since we've had the Christmas tree up. This, in fact, will probably be my last post of '06. Emilie and I have mailed out Christmas letters for the first time this year though. This did not go off without a hitch as our address book is very incomplete, but we thought it would be better to send out as many as we could than not to send any out at all just because we are missing a lot of addresses.
So if you don't get one from us this year and you should have, by all means send us your address! I know I should have been better organised in the first place, but we are new at this, and moving across an ocean has a way of making things harder to keep track of.
ALSO, if you do have an address to send me, e-mail me with the "Contact me" link here or on the right-hand column of this blog—you do not want to post your address in the comments unless you really mean to broadcast them to the whole world, as these pages are indexed by Google and Yahoo. (Besides the increased risk of identity theft or credit card fraud, you could get a lot of junk mail.)
So anyway, if as I expect I don't get any new entries up before next year, a merry Christmas to all and best wishes for the new year!
